Marina Cicogna - Life and Everything Else
A documentary focused on the first female producer, Marina Cicogna, to find space and later establish herself in an environment that had previously been purely male. It was one of the pillars of the golden years of Italian auteur cinema, the one that had as great protagonists between the sixties and seventies faces such as those of Pier Paolo Pasolini, Sergio Leone, Vittorio De Sica, Giancarlo Giannini or Gian Maria Will. La Cicogna has not only established herself in a male world, but has also distinguished herself for her work which earned her an Oscar, a Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival and a Golden Lion at that of Venice. The documentary on Marina Cicogna aims to tell a free and intelligent woman, who thanks to her determination has managed to be part of one of the most important chapters in the history of Italian cinema.
